We absolutely loved our stay at the budget inn. The room was super clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, but most of all the customer service was above and beyond excellent. You have earned our business for all of our future visits to St. Augustine!! The location is perfect it's just a short walk across the bridge to historic downtown!

This place is a real gem! It was the first inn that I stayed in that actually had clean mopped floors - you could eat off those floors, that's how clean they were! Normally whenever we stay at an inn, I first have to mop the floors (we travel with a toddler), while muttering unpleasantries in the address of a local housekeeping service and then leave a negative review. Not this time - everything was impeccably clean, not just floors, everything. The room had a huge tiled shower that was a real treat. The beds were comfy, the mini fridge was actually quite large, the room itself was spacious, even had a little table to sit at. Outside is a nice sitting area with swings and benches. Location is amazing - you leave your car at the inn and downtown St. Augustine is just a short walk across the bridge - perfect! The staff was friendly and I'd say it was a great value for the price I paid.

It was a great experience from check in to check out. Staff was friendly, check in was easy, room was clean, amenities were as promised and check out was easy. Always saw the cleaning staff tidying up the place. The only issues we had was room 124 had a pipe in the ceiling that ticked whenever the water was used by us or any other room in the row. Probably just need someone to go up there and secure or adjust the pipe. We got used to it pretty quickly and it wasn't enough to need to move. Besides that the wifi went down one time and didn't come back up, but when we brought it to the attention of the front desk they gladly reset everything and it was golden from then on. All in all a great visit! P.S. Don't forget the fine restaurants and bars nearby. The stuff over the bridge is great, but there's equally awesome stuff right across the street.

We booked last minute at this place. It was perfect. Walk across the bridge and you were right in the heart of town. Just a basic room no frills. It was inexpensive, clean had everything we needed refrigerator, large shower and the owners were so nice. We arrived early to park and walk over the bridge. And the owners said we’ll clean and have a room ready early for you. And they did. It was safe, and perfect for what we needed this quick trip. Thank you!

Looking for a budget friendly place to sleep, this is your place. It is on the more affordable side of the spectrum and it has a great location. there are a few minor issues such as no fan in the bathroom (but it has a window) and a gap in the door (but is still secure and no water/wind comes in (noticeably). this was one of the few places we have stayed where we didnt have clean the floors! we have paid more only to find out the floors were nasty but this place was actually clean! Easy check in and check out. They do have a playground for the kids and it is well within walking distance to downtown. This will make it to our "will stay again" list.

The location, price and service is top notch!! Don't let the dated sign out front fool you, this place is a hidden gem. Rooms are priced great, remodeled with a comfy bed and pillows, and just across the Lions bridge for a short walk to downtown. Second time staying here and this will be my go-to place when I'm in town!

Worth it for the location, clean room with everything you need as a vacation home base, & great service. Just a beautiful walk across the bridge of lions to downtown. We needed a couple extra wash cloths and more tp, got it immediately and they were friendly about it every time. The a/c is a great sound machine for drowning out some of the noise from the streets or other guests that’s occasionally loud enough to hear at night, but sleep wasn’t disturbed terribly by outside noise or light. Would stay again.
